As anticipated, Honor has scheduled an event on February 27 during the MWC in Barcelona. The company has confirmed that it will launch the Magic5 series and finally bring the Magic V to the global stage. The arrival of the foldable is certainly not a surprise, since Tony Ran, President of Honor EU, has already promised in an interview that the phone will arrive in the first quarter of 2023.
The event will start at 13:30 CET and will be available to watch online. We’ll also have the boots in the field to prepare hands-on impressions of the Magic5 devices as soon as the rollout closes. We’ve already handled The Magic Vs following its November debut and loved its thin, light body.
The Honor Magic5 range is expected to include three phones powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset: a vanilla version, a Pro and an Ultimate. We’ve also spotted a Lite device on the Google Play Console, powered by a Snapdragon 695 chipset, and it may also be making its way to launch in Barcelona. There are four weeks until the launch and we will be following the rumors closely for any further details that may emerge ahead of the MWC launch.
