The nubia Red Magic 7S and 7S Pro were made official earlier this month but, as often happens, they were initially exclusive to the Chinese market.

Today, nubia is bringing the Red Magic 7S Pro to global markets.

The nubia Red Magic 7S Pro will be available in two configurations: 12/256 GB and 18/512 GB. The chipset is of course the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and a 10-layer cooling system ensures that things run under control.

The cooling system is equipped with a graphene heat storage plate, vapor chamber, as well as high conductivity gel, copper coil, heat dissipation plate, cooling air duct, protective case.

There’s also a built-in fan with RGB lights (for Mercury and Supernova colorways) and ultra-thin shark-fin blades. nubia claims it’s 4dB quieter than the Red Magic 7 Pro, while also increasing airflow by 16%.

From a display standpoint, the nubia Red Magic 7S Pro has a 6.8-inch 10-bit AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels with DC attenuation and a refresh rate of 120 Hz with touch sampling of 960 Hz. The selfie camera below the display has an 8 MP sensor.

On the opposite side are three cameras: 64MP main, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro.

The nubia Red Magic 7S Pro is available for pre-order from August 2nd and will ship from August 9th. The 12 / 256GB Obsidian model starts at € 779 / £ 669 / $ 729, the 18 / 512GB Supernova and Mercury (the first clear silver edition) are € 949 / £ 809 / $ 899.

It looks like the nubia Red Magic 7S (read not Pro) with the fastest 165Hz display and regular selfie camera won’t hit the global stage right now.
