The upcoming vivo X80 family has been leaking left and right lately. While it mostly offers purported details on the specs of the X80, X80 Pro, and X80 Pro + trio, we expect to launch by the end of the month. We hardly had any actual sightings of these devices, though, and only a few hints of their design, such as the recent singular image of the vivo X80 posted on the Google Play Console.

Today brings a rather blurry but very official looking photo of what appears to be a banner for the vivo x80 series. Specifically one focusing on the camera prowess of upcoming phones. Logic dictates that the device actually depicted in the image is the flagship vivo X80 Pro +.
It appears to have a really huge camera island, apparently made up of a circular part that actually houses most of the camera hardware, located atop a large rectangular “plate”, which also has a camera in the lower left corner. . Perhaps the latter is a periscope-style telephoto lens, collapsed and extending horizontally over the phone. Could there also be a tiny display on the right side of the camera island? It would not be the first time.
As far as we currently know, the x80 Pro + is expected to be equipped with a 50MP main camera (ISOCELL GN1), a 48MP ultra-wide angle camera (IMX598) and a pair of 50MP cameras (JN1 + JN2) probably with telephoto function. So at least the total count is successful. The phone is also expected to have the custom vivo V1 camera ISP, which seems to mention the text on the poster as well. Along with something about a custom camera setup and maybe even a custom lens. We can’t get the right translation.
By looking at the rest of the markings on the poster, we can extract some additional clues about the potential X80 Pro + camera setup that don’t necessarily correlate well with the specs mentioned above. The lettering suggests that the main camera will have a 1 / 1.3 “sensor, while f / 3.4 sounds like an aperture for a periscope telephoto lens. Both pair well with existing vivo X70 Pro + cameras. The Samsung GN5 sensor also looks like this. to mention, along with its 1 / .157 “size. Do what you want with this.

We don’t know much about the X80 Pro + yet, but rumors suggest a large 6.78-inch AMOLED QHD + display, a 120Hz LTPO 2 panel, and of course the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
