Apple will host its annual WWDC developer conference starting June 5. According to Mark Gurman, chief correspondent for Bloomberg on everything Apple, we will see the AR/VR headset, as well as the new version of the company’s operating systems for smartphones, tablets, computers and smartwatches.
In a more intriguing twist, Gurman also hinted that there will be “several new Macs,” meaning there will be more than the M2-chipset 15-inch MacBook Air.
I expect three main areas of interest next week: 1) several new Macs, 2) mixed reality headsets, 3) new operating systems. With all the new hardware and software, I expect the keynote to be one of the longest ever made by Apple, easily exceeding two hours.

We know from Gurman himself that M3-platform Macs will be revealed later this year. The new Macbook Air will have an M2 chip, leaving us with a new Mac Pro computer with an M2 Ultra chip for “maximum CPU performance”. While the iMac desktop all-in-one is unlikely, we could also see a new M2-chip Mac Studio.
The keynote will start at 10 AM Pacific/1 PM Eastern (i.e. 17:00 UTC) and we expect a live stream to be available. We will be following the event closely and will be ready with a report once everything is official.
