Pixel Watch’s leak campaign is now in full force ahead of its likely announcement at Google I / O next month. We have already seen a prototype “accidentally” “forgotten” in a restaurant, in a box but without a charger. This managed very conveniently to show the world the upcoming hardware without even portraying any part of its software.

Then the watch was certified by the Bluetooth SIG in three versions, and today a new entry gives us the next piece of information: the battery capacity. It will be 300mAh. It’s big? Is small?

Google Pixel Watch battery size is leaking

Let’s put it in context. The Pixel Watch leaked at that restaurant is a 40mm device, as is the Galaxy Watch4 which has a smaller 247mAh battery. Then again, it’s unclear how many sizes the Pixel Watch will come in – after all, if it’s two sizes like many other smartwatches (including the aforementioned Samsung), who can say which one the leaked capacity applies to.

Either way, it definitely looks like the Pixel Watch doesn’t have the smallest cell around. Which makes sense considering it is a rather large monkey with a thickness of about 14mm.

The only other detail this leak brings us is that the Pixel Watch will have cellular connectivity. We assume that it will only be one of three different models and will be the most expensive of the bunch. Let’s hope it’s not the one with the 300mAh battery, as that combination doesn’t make us imagine great endurance.
