While Apple loves to launch its new phones in September, Google was dedicated in October for its main Pixel release of the year, and according to a new report, that won’t change in 2022. The information allegedly comes from “very reliable sources” and is popularized by FrontPage technologywhich also accurately predicted the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro launch date last year.

So, apparently, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be pre-ordered on October 6th and will be available on October 13th. While this hasn’t been specifically specified, we can infer that the launch event itself will take place on October 6th if pre-orders start at the same time, or maybe a day or two earlier.

Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro pre-order and release dates are leaking

And so, once again Google is sticking to October, even if all that works out, this year the launch will be slightly earlier than October compared to 2021. The unveiling event still has some gaps for us to fill in, but Google has already shown us the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, months in advance, in May at its annual developer conference, in an obvious effort to beat the leaksters. Let’s just say that Google’s strategy may have worked somehow, but definitely not quite – after all, what you just read is information allegedly leaked.
