Today, Nvidia announces a new feature for GeForce Now subscribers. Users subscribed to the higher tier game streaming service will be able to access streams with resolution up to 1440p with 120 frames per second directly from a Chrome or Edge browser window.

GeForce Now gets upgrade to stream up to 1440p @ 120fps via browser

After logging into play.geforcenow.com on a supported browser, go to the GeForce Now Settings menu and select the new available resolution and frame rate.

Achieving 1440p and 120fps on GeForce Now was previously possible when using the native GeForce Now app on a Mac or PC, but the browser experience was limited to 1080p and 60fps. Users can now access higher settings without having to install an app.
