We have another scoop on a pair of Amazfit smartwatches coming up: this time they are Amazfit GTR 4 and GTS 4. These will be Amazfit’s premium options that will succeed last year’s GTR 3 and GTS 3. The two watches will have almost identical interiors with the big difference in physical appearance.

Amazfit GTR 4 will bring a 1.43-inch round AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 466 x 466 px and Always-on Display (AoD) functionality. It will feature an aluminum alloy casing in silver and black with a side button and a crown element on the right side for tactile control. It will be available with leather, silicone or nylon straps.

The GTS 4 gets an even larger 1.75-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 390 x 450 px but in a rectangular form factor. It also features an aluminum case and a side crown element. GTS 4 will be only 9.9mm thick and weigh 27 grams without the strap. It will be available in a black, rose gold and brown case with silicone or nylon straps.

Amazfit will offer over 200 watch faces, including main options and corresponding AoDs, as well as 30 animated versions. GTR 4 and GTS 4 will be able to track over 150 sports modes with automatic recognition, sports driving and training analysis. There is also dual-band GPS with support for all five global positioning systems.

Both watches will feature a speaker and microphone with support for Bluetooth calling and independent music playback. Amazfit also adds its new 4PD BioTracker 4.0 PPG optical sensor which is expected to offer more accurate all-day measurements for heart rate, blood oxygen and stress levels.

The software side will be covered by the Zepp OS 2.0 interface. Users in some regions will also get Amazon Alexa built in. Both watches will come preloaded with a host of proprietary Amzfit apps, but will also support a Mini App ecosystem enriched with apps like GoPro and Home Connect, as well as some mini-games.

Amazfit GTR 4 boasts a 475mAh battery rated for 12 days of normal use while the GTS 4 has a 300mAh cell that should get you 7 days between charges.
