Apple’s revolutionary Vision Pro AR/VR headset is still fresh, and there are many unanswered questions. One of them is the price of prescription lenses for people who need them to use the thing.

Well, Bloomberg correspondent Mark Gurman speculates that a pair of Zeiss lenses for the Vision Pro could cost between $300 and $600. That’s a hefty amount but not surprising, considering Apple sells $299 Mac Pro feet and Mac wheels Pros at $699.

And it’s not like someone would buy a $3,500 headset and then refuse to pay for the lenses needed to use it.

Plus, Zeiss already makes add-on lenses for VR headsets and they range from €70 to €100, so some hope remains.
