vivo will unveil the X90 series in China on November 22, which is expected to consist of three models: vanilla, Pro and Pro+. The vivo X90 Pro+ will likely have the just-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC at the helm, while the vanilla model was rumored to feature the Dimension 9200 chip. Those rumors have proven true since vivo officially confirmed that the X90 series will be powered by the Dimension 9200 SoC.

vivo hasn’t explicitly mentioned any model name, but it’s safe to say that it’s the X90 that will have the Dimension 9200 under the hood as the smartphone was recently spotted on Geekbench running Android 13 and 12GB of RAM. The X90 Pro could be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

Furthermore, vivo has confirmed that the X90 series will feature the 50MP Sony IMX758 camera. And the shared live image, with the text “two independent portrait lenses go further,” shows the back side of a quad-camera X90 smartphone, with the top right one possibly a periscope unit. vivo didn’t mention the name of the smartphone, but it’s likely to be the X90 Pro+, and you can see some camera specs written on the right side of the camera island below the LED flash.

Some images shared by vivo on its official website previously showed the X90 series in blue, red and black colors. Red and black models will feature leatherette back panels. Upon closer inspection, you can also notice that the black and red colored smartphones have periscope units, while the blue colored phone does not. Its camera island also has a different look, as do the specs written on the right side of the cameras. We believe the blue colored smartphone is the X90, while the other two are the X90 Pro and X90 Pro+ (or just Pro+).
