Citizen has announced a new smartwatch that brings the best of NASA neural networks and IBM Watson to help you assess your well-being, fatigue and sleep patterns. Citizen CZ Smart works in conjunction with the CZ Smart YouQ app for Android and iOS to help determine the wearer’s current energy score and predict the rest of the day.

The watch also features short gamified tests based on NASA’s Psychomotor Vigilance Task Test (PVT+) used by the space agency to determine the mental alertness of astronauts. The watch tracks the user’s activity patterns and sleep schedules to develop “Power Fixes” to help the wearer stay alert and fight fatigue. Users will receive timely suggestions on when to rest and the ideal time to exercise.

Citizen CZ Smart is available in 41mm and 44mm sizes with both models featuring a 1.3″ AMOLED touchscreen and boasts the Snapdragon Wear4100+ chipset and 8GB of onboard memory. Heart rate and SpO2 sensors are also available as well as gyroscope, barometer and accelerometer.

The watch boots WearOS by Google and comes with built-in Strava, Spotify, YouTube Music and Amazon Alexa apps. Citizen claims you can expect over 24 hours of battery life while a full charge should take around 40 minutes.
