The Asus Zenfone 8 introduced last May will have a successor later this month, as Asus announced today that the Zenfone 9 will be unveiled on July 28th.
The Asus Zenfone 9 will be showcased at several events in New York, Berlin and Taipei at 13:00 UTC and you can expect the launch to be streamed live on YouTube and other Taiwanese brand’s social media accounts.
Asus hasn’t divulged anything about the Zenfone 9 other than showing us the front side of the smartphone. However, an official promotional video leaked last week revealed the design and specs of the Zenfone 9, including the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, 5.9 “120Hz AMOLED screen, 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera with gimbal. and a 4,300mAh battery.
