According to Mark Gurman, a renowned Apple analyst, the company plans to launch new MacBook 13 and 15-inch versions powered by the upcoming M3 chips. There are also a few new iMacs and a redesigned Mac Pro on the horizon.

Let’s start with MacBooks. The new Airs will likely be announced this spring or summer. Gurman suspects that both versions of the notebook will run on the M3 chip.

Apple will launch MacBook Air 13 and 15 this summer with M3 chips

Speaking of Apple’s silicon, the M3 Pro and M3 Max, which are the most powerful variants of the M3 chip, will be launched in 2024, bringing a major increase in efficiency due to the improved 3nm node.

The upcoming Mac Pro and iMac Set will also get huge updates. The M2 Ultra chip with 24 CPU cores, 76 GPU cores and up to 192GB of RAM will power the Mac Pro, while the iMac should get the M3 treatment, just like the 13- and 15-inch Airs. The Mac Pro should make an appearance alongside the MacBooks.

Even standard iMacs with 24-inch screens are expected to be updated, and Gurman expects major changes to the interior design. In addition to the new Apple M-series SoCs, the internal components and design have changed, and a new mount attachment is also planned. A launch date in the second half of this year is the most likely scenario

Last but not least, there’s also an iPad Pro with the new M3 chip on board and an OLED screen.
