Apple is expected to announce two new iPad Pro devices with M2 chips “within a few days,” Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman said in his newsletter. According to the reporter, the 11 “and 12.9” devices will be a slight upgrade and may have new charging capabilities.

Expectations are that the iPad Pro will arrive before October 27, when Apple will announce its quarterly and annual earnings. However, there is no event planned for the launch – the tablets will be announced with a press release on the company’s website.

The new iPad Pro may offer MagSafe charging capabilities, and Gurman even suggested we might see reverse wireless charging, allowing the tablet to share its charge with an iPhone or AirPods case. We may also see the announcement of iPadOS 16, a software update usually announced alongside iOS but not this year.

According to Gurman, the lag for the Apple Watch Ultra is the band, not the device itself. A trail ring in yellow or blue is extremely difficult to find, as is the orange alpine ring. This is currently pushing Watch Ultra shipments to the first week of November, with some models arriving later as well.
