As many of you probably already know, Apple will announce the next generation of iPhones at an event on September 7, but along with the phones, some industry analysts believe a smartwatch will also be revealed.
This will be slightly different from the standard Apple Watch – it will be more premium, with a different design and also a noticeably larger display. It will likely be called the Apple Watch Pro, and according to a supply chain analysis, it will feature a flat display design with a really subtle curvature towards the edges, which itself could also be flat. If true, the Watch Pro will align with the current iPhone design trend with flat sides.
The casing will measure 47mm, housing a 1.99-inch display, well above the Watch Series 7’s current 1.77-inch display.
We may hear more about the wearable in the next few weeks or two before the “Far out” event, but for now, Apple is keeping tabs on its product.
