We heard last month that the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE may come with a 50MP main camera, an upgrade from the Galaxy S21 FE’s 12MP main camera (Samsung hasn’t launched the S22 FE). That report has now been confirmed by the folks at GalaxyClubwhich, citing a “reliable source,” claimed that the Galaxy S23 FE would sport a 50MP camera after all.

The publication also claims that this 50MP unit could be the same one used in the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S23. However, we still need to know how many cameras the Galaxy S23 FE will have on the rear panel and whether we will see any changes to the selfie shooter. The S21 FE comes with a 32MP selfie camera, while the S22 and S23 come with 10MP and 12MP units, respectively.

The rest of the Galaxy S23 FE specs include the Exynos 2200 SoC, a 4,500mAh battery (which likely supports 25W charging), 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and two storage options: 128GB and 256GB.

The source says that the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE could be unveiled months after the introduction of the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 in late July, i.e. by the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024.
