Go to the island inside the lake to check out the ruins of the past and go to the place on the lake island where the notes were left.
Enter the Chamber.

The one in the far corner of the room.

Near the gate.

Go back outside the lake to check Wolfgang’s notes.
After returning out of the lake, check Wolfgang’s notes.
