1. Upgrade lower level cards first
Lower tier cards in Clash Royale give better XP value per gold. For instance, players get 0.8 XP per gold value when updating cards from levels 1 – 2 while the players get 0.02 XP per gold value when updating cards from levels 13 – 14. This has a lot of impact on the experience system and players should consider upgrading their lower level cards for experience first.
2. Donations

- By donating 1 common card you get: 1 XP and 5 gold

- 240,600 gold for rare cards
- 239.400 gold for epic cards
- 230,000 gold for legendary cards
3. Experience
it is used to upgrade the towers of the king and princess. The total amount of XP to upgrade the king’s tower from levels 1 – 14 is 203.770. The total amount of XP cards we get from each rarity card when we upgrade it from its base level to maximum is:
- 5,800 Esp from common cards
- 5,791 Esp from rare cards
- 5,725 Esp from epic cards
- 5,250 Esp from legendary cards
