Red Machine, the publisher of the game Farm and Click – Idle Farming Empire, has just released a nice game on the mobile app stores. It’s called Animals vs Zombies. In the game, you control a cute animal character who has the ability to use a variety of guns. You will be deployed in an apocalypse area, full of zombies. All you have to do is take them down ASAP and then crush their boss. As you clear the waves, defeat their leader, new regions will be unlocked. It’s a pretty challenging game and defeating the zombie horde and their leader wouldn’t be easy. In this post, we’ve shared a number of Animals vs Zombies tips, tricks, and strategies that could help you lighten the waves. So let’s get started.
Animals vs Zombies Tips, Tricks & Strategy Guides: –
1.) Learn the basics
In this part you will learn about weapons / guns, characters, in-game currencies and much more. Starting with the characters: Animals vs Zombies game features many characters, you unlock these characters by increasing the player level. In the upper left corner of the game’s home screen, the player can check the current level and progress. For example, Sal (Lizard) using Flamethrower is unlocked at level 6.
And, in order to level up the Animals vs Zombies game, you need to accumulate experience points. These experience points can be obtained from battles. Enter the battle (tap the play button in the bottom center) -> crush the waves of zombies, survive long, defeat the boss – to earn tons of EXP. Weapons for characters
Each character in Animals vs Zombies uses a different weapon, for example, Alice the cat uses SMG to take down zombies. How are these weapons obtained? 2.) Learn combat mechanics
Your goal is to crush the enemy bosses and move on to the next region. And, as mentioned above, it wouldn’t be easy as the battle gets tougher as you take out the waves of zombies. At the top center of the screen, you can check the wave number: if the boss is summoned, you can check his HP in the top center. Take down the waves of zombies: fill the boss bar at the top center -> summon the boss -> defeat him -> move to the next region. 3.) Start strong, build team
Before hitting the play button, be sure to select the best survivor or character. Use the <> keys on the left / right side of the screen to choose a survivor. Tap the weapon to check its type: physical, anti-armor, fire, etc. Read the details of each weapon to find out how they perform in battle.
For example, Alice’s SMG is good at dealing damage, against the crowd, physical damage.
The shotgun is good at close range.
Some enemies have armor on their vest and are hard to beat – YuLung Panda’s machine gun is good at dealing with armored enemies.
So choose the first survivor wisely. The next thing is to build the team. Save survivors on the map and build / expand your squad. The more survivors are on the team, the better the chances of getting a win. As soon as the battle begins, focus on rescuing survivors first and then start crushing the zombies. It will be easier if you hit the horde with a team, compared to the situation where you are the only survivor.
4.) Learn to play with zombies
In battle, be sure to keep your distance from the zombies. They will move to your team as soon as you make contact with them. You have to keep a distance and fight from a distance – they are good at close combat. Also, stay away from the target zone. Some zombies attack from a distance, and when they attack, you will see a red colored area on the map. Make sure you leave that area as soon as possible if you don’t want to get hit.
5.) Switch to Grind Only mode
In Animals vs Zombies game, you have to get stronger to defeat the boss that appears in the high level stages. And, to get stronger, you need blueprints, coins as game items. So if you’re having trouble winning boss games, it would be best to grind these items and strengthen your character.
- Collect coins from the map
Instead of fighting zombies or when you’re just there to grind, explore the map and you’ll find a pile of gold coins on the ground. Pass your team on these to collect the gold coins from the ground.
From time to time, an airdrop appears on the map. From the airdrop, you could get free gold coins or blueprints.
6.) Upgrade weapons in Animals vs Zombies
Increasing the level of the weapons increases their power and the animal will be able to inflict more damage to the zombies. To upgrade a weapon, go to the main screen -> tap the weapon icon / slot -> under the upgrade button, you can check the requirements to upgrade it. Usually, there are two requirements: coins and a duplicate project. Grind blueprints and coins by playing: collect coins, air launches.
7.) Perform squad updates
At the top left of the game screen, tap the Paw button (⇑) to open the Squad Upgrades menu. There you can spend the gold coins for team upgrades. For example: toughness increases survivor’s HP, double damage boost increases chances of dealing double damage, etc. We recommend that you save coins and focus on major upgrades; hardness, double damage, sense of gold, etc.
8.) Claim the Raid Reward in Animals vs Zombies
At the top right, tap the wanted map / map -> claim the reward once the survivors have returned from the raid. You could get gold coins or free blueprints.
9.) Use consumables
If you are stuck in a boss stage or wave, you should try using consumables. There are two types of consumables: adrenaline, defibrillator. The adrenaline booster increases the attack and movement speed of the animals. Defibrillator booster revives dead squad member with Full HP. Go to the shop -> there you can get these consumables for free by watching the ad video or spending the gems.
10.) Complete the objectives
At the top right, tap the achievement badge to check out the missions. Complete these missions to earn gems. Use gems to buy cases – get high quality gears and make the team stronger.
11.) Double the reward
At the end of the battle or the end of the entire squad, the game will display the loot earned from the battle session – double this loot reward by watching a video ad.
