As expected, Xiaomi today announced its Redmi Note 12 Turbo in China. The phone pioneers the recently announced Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB UFS 3.1 storage.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo offers a 6.67-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The panel sports a punch hole for its 16MP front camera.
The rear houses a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a 2MP macro lens.
The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 67W charging support and boots MIUI 14 based on Android 13. In terms of connectivity, you get Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6, as well as a headphone jack and IR blaster.
Redmi Note 12 Turbo is available in black, blue and silver colors. Pricing for the 8/256GB trim is set at CNY 1,999 ($290). The 12/256GB model costs CNY 2,099 ($305) while the 12/512GB version costs CNY 200 ($30) more. The top-end version with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage is priced at CNY 2,599 ($378).
Xiaomi has also collaborated with Warner Brothers on a special Harry Potter edition of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which offers a clean back design and limited edition accessories. Redmi Note 12 Harry Potter Edition comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and is priced at CNY 2,399 ($349).

Open sales in China start on March 31st. International pricing and availability have not been detailed at this point.
