Oppo introduced the Find X7 Ultra with two periscope cameras, but it also introduced a more affordable Find X7. It upgrades to a Dimensity 9300 chipset and loses one of the telephoto lenses, but still offers a lot of nice features.
The Find X7 shares the 6.82-inch LTPO OLED screen with the Ultra. It supports brightness up to 4,500 nits, but the resolution here is limited to Full HD+.
The chipset is Dimensity 9300 with a CPU that has four Cortex-X4 cores (one at 3.25 GHz, the other three at 2.85 GHz) and four Cortex-A720 units (at 2.0 GHz). We’ve already tested the raw performance of Mediatek’s top chip and found it to be remarkably capable.
On the Find X7 the chipset is paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The main camera of the Find behind a 119 degree FoV lens. Then there’s the 64MP telephoto camera that packs an OmniVision OV64B sensor.
The selfie camera is the same 32 MP f/2.4 that Oppo has used in all its flagships since the Find X3 series.
The Oppo Find X7 has a 5,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, the same cell used in the X6 Pro and X7 Ultra. It comes with Android 14 out of the box with ColorOS on top.
Four color options are available: Ocean Blue, Sepia Brown and Custom Black. The fourth is all purple and is exclusive to this non-Ultra design.
The Oppo Find X7 is up for pre-order in China; the first sale is scheduled for January 12th. The 12/256 GB version costs CNY 3,999 ($560), 16/256 GB is CNY 4,299 ($600), 16/512 GB is CNY 4,599 ($640), and there is also a variant with 1TB of storage for CNY 4,999 ($700).
