A rumor last week claimed that Apple is preparing a new color option for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, which will arrive about a year after the company released new green versions for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini. That launch took place on March 8 of last year.
This time around, the new hue (yellow in this case) could arrive a day earlier, as multiple sources have spoken of a product briefing taking place with Apple’s PR team on the matter tomorrow, March 7. Now Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman is confirming that a new iPhone 14 color is, in his words, “imminent.”
Almost a year after the green iPhone 13 was announced, a new color for the iPhone 14 is very imminent.

Gurman has been reporting on Apple-related stuff for years and is generally considered to be among the most reliable sources on the scene, so while this obviously isn’t official confirmation from Apple — at least not yet — it’s probably the closest we’ll get until such time as the company decides to issue a press release for the new color and make it available for purchase.
According to other sources, the press release announcing the yellow variant of iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus will be released tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. So stick around, as it looks like we’ll have a shiny new shade of iPhone to look at very soon.
