LG may be out of the smartphone business, but it has just released a new Android tablet in its South Korean home market. LG Ultra Tab is an Android 12 tablet with 10.35-inch IPS LCD, Snapdragon 680 chipset and 27-inch battery. , 1 Wh.
The IPS LCD offers a resolution of 2000 x 1200 px and a 5: 3 aspect ratio with a refresh rate of 60Hz. There are four speakers on either side of the display, and LG also offers support for the Wacom stylus. You also get a 5MP selfie camera on the front and an 8MP autofocus main camera on the back. The tablet comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of memory expandable via the microSD slot. Like previous LG devices, it complies with the US Army’s MIL-STD 810G standard for durability.
The LG Ultra Tab comes in a single charcoal gray color and retails for KRW 426,000 ($ 327). Open sales are underway in South Korea, though it remains to be seen whether more markets will get the device.
