Apple began mass-producing the new 15-inch MacBook Air in February and ramped up production in March, according to display analyst Ross Young. Apple is reportedly planning another hike in April, and the highly anticipated larger laptop will be ready to ship once Apple unveils it.
Previous reports suggested Apple could unveil the biggest MacBook Air ever in April or May, but it’s looking increasingly likely that the laptop will be saved for the WWDC conference in June.
The new 15.4-inch Air will join the new 13.6-inch MacBook Air. But it remains to be seen if it will get the M2 chip or if the pair will get a new M3 processor which would also be a WWDC announcement.
