Vivo sub-brand iQOO is said to launch the iQOO 12 series on November 7, and we’ve already seen the vanilla model in a supposed hands-on image last week.
Today we have some exclusive details about iQOO 12 that we are very excited to share with you. First, the official launch in China will take place on November 7, while the global release is scheduled for later this year.
The phone will be among the first to hit the market powered by the newly unveiled Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, perhaps unsurprisingly. However, it will be the first gaming-oriented phone to equip the new SoC.

To improve gaming graphics, the iQOO 12 will use a dedicated display processor with hardware-accelerated ray tracing, similar to the technology Apple introduced in the iPhone 15 Pro last month. This should enable ultra-realistic lighting, reflections and shadows in mobile games for a huge leap in immersion.
The iQOO 12 will run popular mobile games like PUBG Mobile, PUBG New State, Genshin Impact, and LoL Mobile at 144fps with frame interpolation. By the way, this is not the complete list of games that will be supported – expect even more surprises. The phone will exceed the native frame rate limit set by the game developers, to deliver a true high frame rate gaming experience.
For the past few years, iQOO has collaborated with BMW M Motorsport, and this will not change with the release of iQOO 12. There will also be a special “Legend Edition Inspired by BMW M Motorsport”. Expect the usual BMW M stripes at the rear, as well as custom themes.
