Insormountable is a roguelike with elements of adventure that focuses on climbing a dangerous mountain. The game has received a great deal of fanfare and those fans will be able to try the game when it releases on April 29th.

If you want to play on PC, you should act quickly once it’s released. It will initially cost $ 18 before the price increases to $ 20 on May 6th. Console versions (including PlayStation 4 and PlayStation, Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S) will arrive later, though the price and release date are unknown.

Also, it is unknown if this game will arrive on the Nintendo Switch. The developer confirmed that such a plan has been considered by the team, but no definitive plans are in place yet.

While Insurmountable will naturally appeal to roguelike fans, it has enough to offer to intrigue any player. The general premise is that you are climbing a deadly mountain with limited resources. In case of death (due to enemies, elements or depletion of vital resources), we start all over again.

Like many roguelikes, the levels are procedurally generated. So even if you constantly die and start over, you will never face the exact same challenge twice.

For players who accept the challenge, the game has a lot of content. This includes three different mountains to master and three different difficulty levels. Finally, you can choose from three different characters who have different skills and abilities to suit various challenges and play styles.

Honestly, it sounds like a roguelike unlike anything we’ve seen. Are you going to play it? Audio muted in the comments!
