A special promotion in Australia that would have seen the popular fast food company give away 50 special McDonald’s-themed PlayStation 5 DualSense controllers has been blocked by Sony.

The DualSense special would feature McDonald’s famous red, white, and yellow colors, as well as fries and a burger. The promotion was supposed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the opening of the first restaurant in Australia.

Speaking to Press Start, a spokesperson for McDonald’s Australia explained that his plans were not authorized by Sony. The promotional event, which was supposed to start on Sunday, has now been postponed, with no new date being announced. PlayStation controllers will not be part of the giveaway, which will instead include hoodies and channel memberships as rewards.

“Sony PlayStation has not authorized the use of its controller in promotional material relating to the proposed Stream Week event and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused,” said McDonald’s Australia. “McDonald’s streaming week has been postponed and Sony PlayStation controllers will not be included in the giveaway.”
