Xiaomi’s skin on Android has been called MIUI for many years now, but this year the company decided that a change was needed. So, in October, CEO Lei Jun announced HyperOS, which will replace MIUI when updates to Android 14 arrive. Speaking of updates, the global rollout of HyperOS 1.0 based on Android 14 is now imminent.

With all this in mind, today the official Xiaomi account on X decided to reveal the brand new HyperOS logo, which you can see below.

Do you like it? Do you think HyperOS needed a logo alongside the branding? Let us know in the comments. For our part, we would have preferred a quicker rollout than a fancy new logo, but maybe that’s just us?

Anyway, expect HyperOS to slowly make its way to all Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices that the brands are still actively supporting with software updates in the coming months, not weeks, because Xiaomi is unfortunately still not as fast with these as Samsung.
