The Redmi K50i will launch in India on July 20 (Wednesday next week), meanwhile the company has released teasers on the phone. The latest confirms that it will be powered by the Dimensity 8100 chipset.

Redmi India’s Twitter account focuses on promoting the K50i and even MediaTek India’s Twitter entered on action. A few days ago Xiaomi released the phone’s AnTuTu score – 822,274. Note that the scores are carefully selected, some 888 phones get higher scores, as does the iPhone 13 series with the A15 chipset. Check out the current AnTuTu ranking here.

Current speculation is that the Redmi K50i is a renamed Redmi Note 11T Pro +. This phone actually uses the Dimensity 8100 chip. It also features a 6.6 “144Hz (FHD +, 20.5: 9) IPS LCD display, 64 + 8 + 2MP rear and 16MP front camera, 3-inch jack , 5 mm and 4,400 mAh battery with 120 W fast charge (0-50% in 10 minutes, 0-100% in 19 minutes).

Of course, the K50i spec sheet may include some modifications, as is common with regional variations. For example, the Poco X4 GT is mostly similar, except for the different battery: 5,080 mAh with 67 W of charging (0-100% in 46 minutes).

Returning to the rumors, the Redmi K50i is expected to go on sale on July 22 at a price of ₹ 27,000 for a 6/128 GB unit and ₹ 32,000 for an 8/256 GB phone.
