Techtober is in full swing and it’s Google’s turn to show off its latest portfolio of devices today. The Made by Google keynote will mark the launch of the Pixel 8 series alongside the Pixel Watch 2 and Android 14. Google will kick things off at 10 a.m. ET (2 p.m. UTC), and as usual, you can tune into the launch via the built-in menu . live stream below.

Google is notoriously bad at keeping its new Pixel phones under wraps, and we’ve received tons of leaks that reveal pretty much everything you need to know about the new phones. The vanilla Pixel 8 is expected to have a 6.17-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz screen, and the same cameras as its predecessor.

The Pixel 8 Pro is expected to launch with a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED screen with QHD+ resolution and 1-120Hz refresh rate. The rear will feature a 50MP primary camera along with a 48MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and a new 48 MP ultrawide camera. Both new phones will receive the new Tensor G3 chipset with 8GB of RAM on the Pixel 8 and 12GB on the 8 Pro. The larger Pixel is also said to have an infrared thermometer.

According to some rumors, Pixel 8 will start from $700/£700/€800 while the Pro model could reach $900/£1,000/€1,100, but we will know for sure after the conclusion of the event.

The Pixel Watch 2 is expected to retain the round design of last year’s model but with an updated Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 platform and ultra-wideband (UWB) connectivity.
