The vivo X90 series will arrive in December and the flagship X90 Pro + will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and a top-notch camera. Today we learned more about the vanilla version too: the base vivo X90 will run on the Dimensity 9200 chipset and will support 120W charging.

The specs rumored come from Digital Chat Station on Weibo and also revealed that the screen will be 1.5K, which is why 1220p panels are often mislabeled. The vivo X90 will also be the first vanilla X-series smartphone to be IP-rated, so far only the Pro models had water and dust protection.

The Dimensity 9200 chipset hasn’t been announced yet, but today we saw an initial benchmark, which revealed an overall 26% improvement in raw performance. The vivo X90 will also have an increase in battery capacity – reports point to a 4,700mAh dual cell.
