The vivo X90 series hasn’t been around for long, but we may get an updated model very soon. Second Digital chat stationthere will be an upgrade model called vivo X90S, powered by the yet-unannounced Mediatek Dimensity 9200+ chipset.
The X90S will be the second phone after the iQOO Neo8 Pro that vivo will announce with the upcoming chipset. The leakster claimed that the AnTuTu score of Dimensity will be lower than that of the traditional Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, with the larger core slightly more powerful.
The Dimension 9200+ will reach around 1,350,000 points on AnTuTu, a figure that is well above the vivo X90 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, two of the most powerful Android phones currently on the market.
The benchmark result is a sum of CPU, GPU, memory and UX performance, meaning we should expect more than just a processor upgrade when Mediatek announces the new platform.
