Yesterday we saw the unveiling of the vivo X80 and vivo X80 Pro in China and it seems our prayers for a quick global launch have been answered. vivo Malaysia has confirmed the date of the local announcement of the X80 series: it will be May 8 at 15:00 local time.
The promotional poster says “X-tion with Speed,” the pun with the word action used by the company to emphasize the X80 Pro’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and the Dimensity 9000 SoC that powers the vanilla X80.
The event will be streamed online for all those interested in following it.
