The first Samsung device to run Android 12L based software is the new Galaxy Z Fold4. Of course, the tablet version of Android will also arrive on Samsung tablets, starting with the Tab S8 series.

What’s new? The taskbar feature allows you to quickly switch between apps and launch them (including pairs of apps in split screen mode), without having to use DeX mode. Also, you can use a two finger gesture to switch between full screen and split screen mode. Opening an app in a floating window is also an option.
The update allows Tab S8 whiteboards to extract text from images (Chinese, French, German, Italian, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish are supported, in addition to English). Smart actions appear next to the text, such as dialing a number from a business card photo. The My Files app can search for information within files, including text in images.
There are some other improvements, eg. Samsung internet browser allows you to rearrange your favorite sites by drag and drop (bookmarks can also be sorted), you can set a collection of images as lock screen wallpapers and edit the collection later and so on .
