The Samsung Galaxy F14 will be launched on March 24 in India, the key specifications have been officially confirmed

India is expecting the Galaxy A34 and A54 on March 28, but apparently, another phone will be launched a few days earlier: the Samsung Galaxy F14 will arrive on March 24 at 12:00 local time. Samsung has officially confirmed the date and some of the rumored features.

The F14 will be the only phone in the segment with a 5nm chipset – according to the fine print, the segment in question is ₹10,000-₹15,000. It’s lower than some rumors suggest (the F13 was launched at ₹12,000 last year).

Said chipset is the new Exynos 1330, already used in the Galaxy M14 (to which this phone is closely related) and the A14. We’ve seen it in multiple leaks, including on Geekbench. It supports 13 5G bands, so the phone can connect to the country’s budding next-generation network. And it will have up to 6GB of real RAM and up to 6GB of virtual RAM.

The Galaxy F14 will receive 2 OS updates and 4 years of security patches, the same as the A14. While not as much as the high-end A-series phones, this is still more than what a typical phone in this price range gets. The phone will come with Android 13/One UI 5.0 out of the box.

Moving forward, Samsung confirms that the screen will be 6.6 “with FHD + resolution and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. There is no mention of the refresh rate, but it should be 90Hz like on the M14.

An upgrade over the M14 is that the Galaxy F14’s 6,000mAh battery will charge at 25W (up from 15W). Nothing is known about the cameras, but the M14 has a 50MP main camera on the back plus a 13MP selfie camera on the front, and we don’t expect the F-model to differ.
