vivo and iQOO are launching their Android 13 preview programs in India today. Owners of a vivo X80 Pro or an iQOO 9 Pro can sign up if they wish to try the next major update of FuntouchOS. The preview software will actually launch in a week (Aug 23), so why be in such a hurry?
Well, both the vivo and iQOO program will only accept 500 users each. So if you want to get in, you better hurry up. The registration process is simple: go to Settings, System Update, then tap the Settings icon in the top right corner and then hit Trial version.

More details for the live program here and for the iQOO program here. Just make sure your phone is updated to the latest stable version or you won’t be able to participate.
Those who are accepted will be able to try the new FuntouchOS 13 on their phones. It goes without saying that this is an early version of the software, so it may have some bugs and issues that make it unsuitable for your daily driver. So, you may want to wait until a more stable version is available.
Of course, many other vivo and iQOO phones are eligible to upgrade to version 13. However, they will have to wait – there is no official timeline yet for the launch of all supported devices.
