OnePlus introduced the Ace 2 earlier this month in China with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. However, the company is expected to unveil a version of the Ace 2 with the Dimension 9000 chip at the helm. OnePlus hasn’t divulged much about the Ace 2 Dimension Edition yet, but thanks to a reliable tipster Digital chat stationwe know what the smartphone will be like.
DCS extension has published an image that shows us OnePlus Ace 2 Dimension Edition in black color. It has a flatter design than the Snapdragon model, with the back cover featuring four circles, two of which house the three cameras. The smartphone also has an alert slider on the right frame, merged with the power button.
The main camera of the OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition is said to be using a 64MP OV64M sensor instead of the 50MP IMX890 sensor we have on the Snapdragon variant. Charging speed is also said to have been reduced from 100W to 80W, but the Dimension Edition is expected to share the rest of the specs with the Snapdragon version.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 powered OnePlus Ace 2 was introduced as the OnePlus 11R in India. It remains to be seen whether the Dimension Edition will also launch under a different name outside of China.
