The Motorola Moto G72 launched in India on October 3rd and now it’s time for a European tour. The phone will soon be available in some countries of the Old Continent with a recommended price of € 260 (note: the exact price varies by country, for example in Germany it is € 280).
6.6 “P-OLED display, resolution 1,080 x 2,400 px, 120 Hz, HDR10 + support
The G72 was designed for multimedia consumption with its 6.6 “P-OLED display (resolution FHD +, 20: 9), a 10-bit panel with HDR10 + support. There are two speakers with Dolby Atmos, Atmos is supported even if you plug your headphones into the 3.5mm jack.

The display can run at 120Hz for a smooth user interface, but the Helio G99 falls short of gaming at 120fps. The 6nm (TSMC) chipset has 2 Cortex-A76 (2.2 GHz) and 6 x A55 (2.0 GHz) cores, as well as a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The chipset is paired with 6 to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of storage space (UFS). The phone has a hybrid card slot so you can add more storage or a second phone line.
The Helio G99 supports cameras up to 108MP and this phone makes full use of it.

Motorola has packed a 108MP sensor with 0.64 µm pixels and support for 9 in 1 binning. This camera can record 1080p video at 60 fps and together with the ultra wide camera can be used to calculate depth information for the portraits. By the way, the ultra-wide camera on board has an 8 MP (1.12 µm) sensor. Next to it is a 2MP macro cam.

On the front there is a 16 MP (f / 2.45, 1.0 µm) selfie camera, this can shoot 1080p video at 30 fps. Also on the front there is the in-display fingerprint reader.
Whether it’s long streaming marathons or long gaming sessions, the Moto G72 can last for a long time thanks to its 5,000mAh battery. It comes bundled with a 33W charger (technically the phone goes up to 30W) and a USB-C cable, as well as a protective case, and in some countries a headset is even included.
