LeEco just announced a new phone for the Spring Festival (Chinese New Year, which falls on January 22 this year).

The LeEco S1 Pro is a midranger that has clearly been heavily inspired by the iPhone 14 Pro, right down to the Dynamic Island. It’s also usable, similar to the Apple flagship.

Appearance is where the similarities end, however. LeEco S1 Pro has a 6.5-inch 720x1600px LCD with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a 12nm Zhanrui T7510 chipset with 4 x 1.8GHz Cortex-A75 cores and 4 x 1.8GHz Cortex-A55 cores. The graphics are powered by an Imagination 9446 GPU with a clock speed of 800MHz. There is a single 8/128GB configuration.

The LeEco S1 Pro packs a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging. There’s a 5MP front-facing camera and a 13MP primary camera on the back.

The LeEco S1 Pro has Huawei’s mobile services instead of GMS, but this isn’t surprising since Google’s suite isn’t available in China.
