We’ve been hearing about the Realme GT Neo 5 since last month, which Realme recently confirmed will be the first phone to support 240W wired charging. While Realme is yet to detail the spec sheet of the GT Neo 5, the one believed to be the GT Neo 5 has been listed on Chinese certification authority TENAA’s website with full specifications, leaving little to the imagination.
We are looking at two versions: one with model code RMX3706 and another with RMX3708. The only difference between the two is the battery size. The former has a nominal battery capacity of 2,425mAh, while the latter has 2,225mAh. This means that the typical battery capacity of the RMX3706 and RMX3708 will be 4,850mAh and 4,450mAh respectively. This assumes that smartphones are packing dual cell batteries.
Previous leaks claimed that the GT Neo 5 would have a 150W version and a 240W model. The former will pack a 5,000mAh battery, while the latter will have a 4,600mAh cell.

That said, both the RMX3706 and RMX3708 will be equipped with a 6.74″ AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2,772×1,240 pixels, an octa-core processor with a maximum frequency of 3GHz and quad cameras. There will be a camera 16MP at the front and a triple camera setup at the rear consisting of 50MP, 8MP and 2MP units.
Both variants will have three RAM (8GB/12GB/16GB) and four storage options (128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB), an in-display fingerprint scanner, an IR blaster, and 5G connectivity . Interestingly, despite the difference in battery size, the RMX3706 and RMX3708 will be 8.9mm thick and weigh 199g.
The Realme GT Neo 5 will be unveiled next month. Realme hasn’t revealed the date yet, but we believe it will be introduced to global markets at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain.
