The Reno9 phones were announced in China in late November and the company is already working on the next series, the Reno10. The leakster Digital Chat Station has published the diagrams of a smartphone, claiming to be the Oppo Reno10 Pro +, the most powerful of the final range.

The image, if true, reveals that Oppo’s midranger series will have a periscope lens smartphone, while the overall design will move away from the square island in the upper left corner.

The image reveals a flat screen with a single hole for the selfie camera. On the back are three cameras on an oval island: two shooters with standard lenses and one with a periscope at the bottom, right next to the blurred “Powered by MariSilicon” branding.

Reno smartphones have skipped the proper telephoto lens to keep prices low. We could see Oppo keeping it this way if, behind the square, there is nothing but a simple 2MP macro sensor, just like Xiaomi has done with the Redmi K60 and Redmi K60 Pro.

The Reno series will launch over a span of five to six months, which means we won’t see the Oppo Reno10 Pro+ until April. There is enough time to figure out whether this image contains the truth or is it just a piece of the leakster’s imagination.
