The vivo X90 series will arrive on November 22, and the most powerful member of the family, the X90 Pro+, has already been confirmed to have a 1-inch sensor. Today a leaked image, ostensibly designed for the official webpage, revealed full details of the phone’s camera, as well as most of the information regarding the new display, with a few other key features in the mix as well.

The vivo X90 Pro+ will in fact sport the 1” Sony IMX989 sensor and the screen will be a Samsung E6 OLED with LTPO 4.0 technology.

The phone is likely to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, paired with a vivo V2 ISP that will bring even sharper photos and videos in a low-light environment. The display is advertised with 2K resolution, which is what some manufacturers call their QHD+/1440p panels.

This is the same resolution as the predecessor X80 Pro, matching its 517 ppi.

The camera setup is clearly what will make the X90 Pro+ stand out in a crowd – it has four compelling cameras. The 1-inch 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor is the primary camera, but there’s also a 50MP telephoto camera with a Sony IMX758 sensor, a 64MP periscope unit, and a 48MP Sony IMX598 ultra-wide-angle shooter.

The focal length of the main camera is 23mm equivalent, the 2x telephoto has a 50mm equivalent, the periscope goes to 90mm equivalent, and the ultra-wide angle has a 14mm equivalent lens.

Other specs of this capable phone include Hi-Fi audio, a larger than usual fingerprint scanner under the screen, 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless support, and an IP68 certified body.

The last question still unanswered at tomorrow’s event is how much this smartphone would cost and if alive would it say anything about global availability.
