Apple’s default weather app fails to display information for users worldwide. The outage has been going on for hours for some users and days for others. The problem appears to be a server-side issue with the Apple System Status Dashboard page showing a current problem with the Weather app. The details on the page only show Alaska as an issue, but the issue persists for users worldwide.

Oddly enough, the weather app on some Apple devices, including MacBooks and Apple Watches, doesn’t have the problem for some users. During our tests, we were able to fetch weather data on the app for a few minutes by manually adding a location via the search bar in the Weather app. We can expect Apple to fix the bug as soon as possible.
