Starlink’s latest internet plan is now being tested and promises internet connection “almost anywhere on land in the world.” The global roaming service will cost $200 a month on top of the $599 Starlink Kit satellite dish. Due to its experimental nature, Starlink says the new global roaming service will offer high-speed, low-latency internet service mixed with periods of “low or no connectivity at all”. As the memo noted, global roaming services are “dependent on regulatory approvals,” which poses a big question mark for the services as Starlink is still awaiting regulatory approval in various countries.
