Samsung has released a new update for the Galaxy Watch4 wearables. It comes with minor fixes, mostly related to system stability, but doesn’t include a new security patch. It has a size of 185 MB with firmware version R8xxXXU1GVI3.
The update is hitting devices in South Korea and, barring any problems with early adopters, is expected to go global soon.

The update log reveals that the security patch is dated August 2022, just like last month’s update. It is affecting both the Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic variants, and users should be notified at any time on their connected smartphone.
Big changes have already come to wearables 2021 in early September, including the latest OneUI 4.5 with new watch faces, improved notifications, an improved integrated keyboard, and more options for setting alarms.
