The Samsung Galaxy Watch5 will charge much faster than its predecessor, according to the latest leak. Tipster SnoopyTech says Samsung is packing a 10W magnetic charger with the wearable device, which means the maximum charging speed will be twice that of the Watch4.
However, we expect a larger battery in the Watch5, which, coupled with the limitations of the charge curve, means that it is difficult to predict the actual improvement in the charging time.

The images reveal that the charger cable is USB-C as expected. While the 10W output is a lot for a smartwatch, it’s actually conservative in general terms, so almost any PD charger should be able to pump enough power.
