After yesterday’s Galaxy Tab S9+ renders, we finally have some more details on the specs of its big brother: the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. The new information comes from a reputable leakster Ice universe and suggests that the physical dimensions of the upcoming Tab Ultra will remain nearly identical to its predecessor. It will measure 326.4 x 208.6 x 5.5mm just like the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, but the new model will be 11 grams heavier at 737g.
The Tab S9 Ultra will boast the same 14.6-inch Super AMOLED display with 1848 x 2960px resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The leakster also confirmed that the Tab S9 Ultra’s battery capacity will remain unchanged at 11,200mAh and charging speeds will once again be capped at 45W.
The new bits will include the Galaxy Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The Tab S9 Ultra along with its siblings will be IP68 water and dust resistant which will be a first on the Galaxy Tab line outside the Tab Active series.
