Samsung has recently gone all out by pushing out updates to Android 14 with One UI 6 for dozens and dozens of devices, and the latest to get the tasty surprise is the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ that launched in October with Android 13.

This model now sees the arrival of One UI 6, obviously based on Android 14. So far it seems that the launch will only take place in Turkey and Australia, but as usual, once the ball is rolling, it just takes a little time for these to expand into more and more countries and territories around the world.

The update arrives over the air as a 2GB download, and once installed, you’ll be at the November 1, 2023 security patch level and software version X610XXU1BWK9 / X610OJM1BWKA. One notable feature is a new DeX mode, a sort of hybrid between the old DeX and the regular One UI, according to the person who notified us of the update (thanks for the tip, by the way!). There’s also a new design for the control panel.

The usual notes about over-the-air updates apply here too, unsurprisingly. These rollouts are usually done in batches, so it may take a few days for them to spread to all devices, even in countries where they are already available. If you own a Galaxy Tab S9 FE+ and are lucky, you could enter 2024 with One UI 6 and Android 14 on your tablet.
