The Galaxy Tab A9 is the latest Android tablet from Samsung to be official. The device was released without much fanfare on the official Samsung Guatemala website and on Amazon UAE. Some press materials also mention the Tab A9+ but do not reveal the full spec sheet and pricing details for now.

The Tab A9 features an 8.7-inch IPS LCD display with 800 x 1340 px resolution. An earlier Google Play Console listing confirmed that the device features MediaTek’s Helio G99 chip paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage in the base variant that is expandable via the microSD card slot. The Amazon UAE listing confirms that the Tab A9 and A9+ come with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The Tab A9+ is expected to launch with an 11-inch LCD with a resolution of 1200 x 1920 px, a Snapdragon 695 chipset with 4/8GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage, and optional 5G support. Both new tablets boot Android 13 presumably with One UI 5.1 on top. We don’t have any details on the cameras or battery capacity of either new tablet.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 with LTE connectivity is priced at AED 699 ($190) at Amazon UAE and GTQ 1,499 ($191) at Samsung Guatemala. We can expect pricing and availability details for more regions to emerge in the coming days.
