Samsung’s Galaxy S23 is just around the corner, and as the release date approaches, more rumors naturally start to surface. The latest one comes from a reliable source regarding things related to Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy S23 series will support 8K@30fps video recording

In a recent tweet, Ice universe suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will offer support for 8K@30fps video recording. We’ve already seen many other smartphones record video at 30fps at 4320p resolution, but this will be a first for Samsung. Let’s just hope Samsung is generous with its storage offerings, as 8K video takes up a lot of space.

The difference between 30 and 24fps may not seem like much, but it sure is easy to see in person. Also, the tipster only mentions “S23,” implying that the entire lineup will receive the update, which makes it a bit more impressive given that the Galaxy S23 will be a tiny phone.
